Haiku- Frostbitten

Source
Anesthetized arms,

Frosted with mordant winter,

Calmed with warmth of zeal.

Iced motionless trunks,

Endure the sore agony,

yearning for delight.

Trees, frozen and numb

Standing upright with fire

of zest to survive.

  8. This so reminds me of the winter I am in here. I loved the last few lines of the poem - the fire to survive, it is so nice to relate it to the passion and zeal within ourselves as well. Wishing you a very happy new year Deeshani.
